Luke Park & Eugene Lee
Luke is an ordained pastor through the Wesleyan Church and Eugene is also on an ordained track. We have been in ministry for over 17 years as both have received the call into ministry at a young age, and through the ebb and flow of life, God brought us together in 2006. While serving in the Young Adult Korean-American Christian movement called Matchstrike in Maryland, we fell in love, fell in love with building God’s kingdom and continued to serve Korean-American churches. Together, we focused on building relationships, training young people to follow Christ, and trained to become missionaries ourselves.
In 2014, God called us to New York City, which we initially thought to be a transitional stage prior to going on a mission field. But, the Lord re-affirmed in 2017 that this city needs a Gospel-teaching church and its discipleship and gave us the heart to plant a church in Manhattan. And God inspired our mission-strategy, which we would have to used in the mission field, to plant the cafe church and become the multipliers of cafe churches in the years to come.
We are missionaries by heart and we are called to plant churches!
